Applying to the Summer 2008 Feature Production Practicum


TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONSENT PROCESS STUDENTS MUST SIGN UP IN ADVANCE.

Pitches will begin April 23rd.  Students must sign up for a pitch prior to April 23rd. STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO SIGN UP EARLY.

Please note, the consent process will occur after the regular registration deadline.  Interested students must submit their portfolios to the committee by April 25, 2008 and schedule to present them between 4/23 and 5/4 (e-mail Bryan Sebok at utfi@mail.utexas.edu) to be considered for the Summer 2008 feature.  Consent will be posted NO LATER than May 5, 2008.  Students accepted into the class will be able to register during the summer add/drop period.  ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER FOR COURSE CREDIT.


REGISTRATION INFORMATION: CONSENT REQUIRED

All interested students will need to audition or "pitch" in order to
demonstrate both their interest in taking the class and their
expertise/experience in whatever position in the class they desire to
fill. The consent process is different for each creative discipline
(see below) but all pitches should be taken seriously, as this is a
competitive campus-wide class.

Appointments for the pitches/Q&As must be scheduled by
April 25 at 5pm. To schedule an appointment, contact Bryan Sebok @
utfi@mail.utexas.edu.

Resumes and portfolios (details below and at
http://utfi.utexas.edu/conservatory/consent.html for each position)
are due on April 25, 5 p.m..

The Selection Committee will assemble to meet with prospective students, observe their
presentations, and review their materials.
